Native from Northern Mexico to Argentina. Upright, rounded tree to 20 ft. high and 10 ft. wide. Evergreen leaves are compound with 5 to 13 dark green leaflets on each frond. Flowers are bright yellow funnel shaped in clusters blooming from spring through autumn. In cooler climates grow in greenhouse, conservatory or tub to be brought indoors during winter. Propagate from seed in spring or semi-ripe or green cuttings during summer.

Winter hardy in zones 10 - 11 and marginally in zone 9 with some protection.
