Strawberry Guava, Psidium littorale syn. Psidium cattleianum, is easily grown from seed offered by the GreenDealer Exotic Seeds Selection of
Fruit and Nuts.

 

Photograph at left and above were taken in north-central Costa Rica in June, 1999. Besides offering declicous fruit, the Strawberry Guava tree is a beautiful landscape specimen and can be grown indoors during winter months if offered enough heat and light.

The last two photographs were taken in the conservatory in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, California, August, 2004.
