Gardenia Flower, Gardenia jasminoides, is an ornamental shrub of mystical, and outstanding beauty. Besides being a splendid, easily grown plant, it also produces an unforgettable scent, an ingredient of romance. The pure-white flowers average 3 inches (7.5 cm) in diameter and bloom in profusion.
This ornamental shrub is winter hardy in the tropical zones of 10 - 11, but is easily grown in containers indoors in northern climate zones if offered adequate light and warmth.
