Agapanthus africanus, commonly known as Blue Lily of the Nile is an evergreen species with flower stalks reaching 2 ft. in height. Blue flowers bloom throughout the summer. It tolerates poor soil and drought but prefers full sun. In climates where winters are cold, plants can be brought indoors in large pots.
Winter hardy in zones 9 - 11.
