African Tulip Tree, Forest Blaze Spathodea companulata A spectacularly dazzling tropical tree with glorious fern-like folieage. Bright crimson-red 4 inch uniquely-shaped flowers with yellow frilled edges. Pinnate leaves are up to 20 inches long. The wood is used for making native drums. Zones 10-11 or grow as large houseplant in colder zones.
